We had Complex Variables by Stephen D. Fisher.

I'll have to decide what class I want to take later this year between Complex Analysis and something called "The Quantum World" which is explained as this "It surveys the physical principles, mathematical techniques and interpretation of quantum theory. The Schrödinger equation, the uncertainty principle, the exclusion principle, fermions and bosons, measurement probabilities, entanglement, perturbation theory and transition rates are all discussed. Applications include atoms, molecules, nuclei, solids, scanning tunnelling microscopy and quantum cryptography". I was leaning towards the latter but what do you guys think?

That class sounds really fun! (I'm not joking.)

The Quatum one? Yeah, I thought so, too.

i give a shit about somethings, just not that. i dont even see what the big deal is. kind of like going to parties, dont really see the point in it, never have.

What is the "that" that you don't give a shit about specifically though?

well its something she does care about, im not going to run around telling everyone.

that wouldnt be a very nice thing to do.

So it's something your girlfriend cares about, but you don't?

Ehhh I'd go with Complex analysis, but I'm biased since I've already had quantum and you could easily learn all that on your own.

"the booze just mean more to me than you ever will, im sorry"

Well, I have to learn either myself, as I do distance learning, so if you think quantum might be easier to pass, that might be a point in its favour.

mars, why did you think we were dating?

Since you were not very forthcoming with any information I assumed you were talking about your girlfriend.

Oh, you can definitely pass quantum.

oh.. ohhh i get it.

well, no, it had to do with a pm, i just didnt feel like going back and forth constantly, so i just continued it here.

I'm not sure how interesting quantum theory will be without mathematical modeling and it seems to cover quite a lot which makes me uncertain of the depth of analysis. I personally would go with "the quantum world" in your shoes based of that description though.
