Sorry guys, I have to vent. It's okay if you skip over this of course, I just need to say it.
I have a problem, I can't get this certain girl out of my head. We are good friends, but I really, really like her. And I'm 99% sure she feels the same way about me, and if not, she sure acts like it, and is the most affectionate "friend" I've ever had. I mean, I've liked girls before, but I've never felt like this about anyone. I've spent a lot of time trying to get her out of my head because my mind is always stuck on her and it distracts me throughout the day. Never works, no matter how hard I try. It also doesn't help that she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.
I'm almost 100% positive that she feels something like that for me too. The way she looks at me, the way she acts around me, etc.
One time, I was going to arm wrestle my friend, but I was wearing an Under Armor compression shirt, so my arm kept sliding on the table, so I was like "I'll just pull this sleeve up", and she wanted to help me, which was completely unnecessary because I know how to pull my shirt sleeve up. Well, we worked as a team and got the sleeve up, and she started stroking my forearm. It wasn't just like she was rubbing it, she got a grip on it, and started going up and down like she was trying to win a prize, and also smiling up at me. Not smiling at me in a happy, bubbly kinda way, but more like a "My parents won't be home after school..." kinda smile.
^That was a while ago.
She doesn't act like that around me anymore. Now, she acts kinda shy and nervous around me. Most of the time, she has trouble looking me in the eye when she talks to me, and talks in a lower and quieter voice than I'm used to hearing from her. It's ****ing adorable. She still stares at me a lot in kind of a "dreamy" way (hard to explain what it looks like) though.
I'm pretty sure she likes me. I'm the kind of guy that you have to make it incredibly obvious to convince me of that though. If she put it on a sign or something, then that would probably convince me.
I don't want to ask her out because I don't want to risk losing her as a friend. If I can't be with her, then I still want to be friends with her, because she means a lot to me.

That's the thing though, I usually have no problem asking girls out. It's different with her. She has a different effect on that anybody I've ever met. I also don't want to risk losing her as a friend.
According to our friends, we flirt every time we talk to each other. My friends love to make fun of me for it.
