This is why some cops irk me. I'm sitting in line waiting for a train because in Chicago we have a shitload. Traffic has built up waiting, all of a sudden a cop speeds up and gets next to the car in front of the line. So the cop is sitting in the lane that the people going in the opposite direction would be going(but due to the train they were stuck on the other side). It's obvious the cop is doing this so he can speedily be the first one through. I figure maybe there is a crime they need to get to.

So train ends, and what happens? The cops of course go through first and..turn immediately into the parking lot of a 7/11. *sigh*

Maybe the cop had a slushy emergency?
