This is why you have to look at the brand of meats. So for instance the lobster was frozen and the brand was a relatively well known one and I'd had their seafood products in the past from the same brand so I said good to go. I buy Tilapia fillets from the same brand and they are always excellent.
You have to know how to shop there. For instance since you don't trust meat from them you would be okay if you just avoided the fresh meats section. They have good prices for various types of frozen stuff from different brands.
Though I will say a few weeks ago from the fresh meat section I bought an excellent 5 lb piece of st. louis style ribs. But like with the other example I recognized the brand. They also have really great fresh pizza's.
Also their alcohol selection is now quite large, lots of wines and even some foreign beers in addition to other kinds. I bought some Blue Moon from them.
They also tend to have awesome seasonal items. Pumpkin pie poptarts are awesome. So are the sugar cookie ones, but the gingerbread ones are gross.
