I saw Disney mulan. It was brutal. I would not watch it again. Over the years Disney has been more about the message and less about the story.

I good story has the heroine going through enormous difficulties to find a great resolve while still making the viewer guess what's going to happen next.

A good story does not hold on to cliches.

Add the numbers up the way it is presented and some day you’ll understand esp.
