A lot of movies suck but truly has nothing to do with the storyline and more to do with how much money it made. Yes, Pokemon was a suckfest but so was Sonic, Dora the Explorer and The Mummy with Tom Cruise.

Most movies today lack imagination, just look at Wonder Woman 1984, it's all about fluff. Cant recall the last good movie I saw.

They really fvcked up the Mummy, basically killing the shared Universe they were trying to set up.
