Untrue, people dump their families all the time and go on to make their own type of families, whether it's with close friends or even a hippy commune, you're only stuck with your family for however long you can tolerate them.

Good friends take years to find and sometimes you wish you were a loner. But most times you have to work them in for them to be considered a good friend.

I have many acquaintances that could be classified as friends, we hang out and have fun.

But I wouldn't trust them with anything, I don't allow them in my inner circle, they get no access to anything that could be even remotely used against me in any way shape or form.
