I didn't find anyone, my brother's partner knew her from college and introduced us when I was visiting them in Vegas. You're correct though, you want to be very careful about that sort of thing in rural areas, some country folk are cool and welcoming if you're cool and not blatant with it, and some are just ignorant dickweeds that will bust you in the face for existing.

Seriously it was an ordeal because most transwomen have been scoped by scammers and abusers gives them an attitude about potential dates. But she's so f ucking interesting I didn't mind the aggravation.
Of course that's just one possible variant of tranny psychology. Others would just gay, or believing they're a lesbian as a self-identified woman.
