Blakey strikes me more of a Mortimer Toynbee than an old timey Professor.

You didn't get my joke

Generational Divide, the context of jokes may go right over my head because I've not gotten the required pop cultural information, then there's the Regional Divide that also factors into it, a cultured City fella would have different points of humor than a hick from the sticks, so it's not surprising that I wouldn't get it.

Rex Harrison? He played a professor of languages that could tell from the tone and pitch of a person, to pinpoint exact location of where they were from

I didn't watch My Fair Lady, it's a chick flick, dood.

It's a classic

I watch everything, even Grey Gardens and that movie annoyed me

I'm picky with movies and TV shows, it has to appeal to my particular tastes ie. have car chases, gun fights, martial arts, hot naked chicks, and lots of Michael Bay EXPLOSIONS!!!

I'm the opposite. I get bored very easily and I seldomly watch movies. I'm really into writing stories and so it will have to be something I feel a connection with. The last movies I saw were witchcraft, because of the history of taboo and rituals. The vampire movie you recommended because of the unique story and the fact it was on a plane. It has to fascinate me or I'll stop watching it within the first few minutes. But I do give things a chance even if I invest time in it.

I find that American storytellers rush, while foreign stories tend to buildup the characters and draw out the climax

I'll recommend some if you like

Watch, The Beast
1988 ‧ War/Drama

Seen it, good stuff.

Well I can't think of any good movies with explosions right this second haha
