Hey, when I was at university, we had a representation of transgender courses and I just flat out said I’m not interested and walked out. Instead focused on representation of women in cinema, and got a high mark from it. I just don’t care for transsexual people. It’s weird and about as natural as Botox.

It takes a long time for cultural mores to shift and some people are going to take extra long as they are steeped in the traditional values of their parents and country.

It has more to do with the mental aspect, not the physical. Being trans isn't an easy lifestyle.

When you identify as transgender, you have to accept everything that comes along with that lifestyle. Strangers picking fights with you for no reason, being harrassed, sexually assaulted, not to mention unemployment and gender reassignment surgery, which is expensive.

Transgender people have the highest suicide rate next to dentists. Most trans people have to find jobs in prostitution just to sustain themselves. And transgender people have a higher chance of getting murdered.

Then why bother?
