Sharpening at 0% always, except not really. Image should be super dark for "accuracy". Preserve that fine detail you won't even notice or remember. 🤪

Personally I agree Judiciary's have disproportionate power, at least here in the states they constantly mess with the Executive and Legislative branches all the time, use judicial review to create new law out of whole cloth, while the Executive and Legislative branches never meddle check the Judiciary ever.

Basically in terms of checks and balances all the real power is with the judges.

All I wanted was some advice on making a Gamecube look decent on an HDTV with RCA cables. I end up getting advice like "Set it to movie mode for most accurate colors".

So that grey background in Galaxian is "accuracy"? I think I prefer the out of the box "Normal" mode that makes the background actually black instead of grey.

Set it to factory basic and make the best of it, bro.

Back in my day we made do with black & white TVs with no cable or sat dish.

I'm old enough where this aunt me and the cousins stayed at over the summer had a black and white tube with an Atari 2600 hooked in. 😁

Heck, I still remember the wired push button controllers on those early 80's setups.

I'm fine with how the Gamecube looks, was just looking around instead of trying to reinvent the wheel hoping this was a common problem the retro enthusiasts fixed. Should have known better though.

Gamecube had some good games for it, I'll give it that much.

Growing up my cousin had every single console and game in existence because his parents were lazy fvckers and raised him and his brother on cartoons and games and then did whatever they wanted.

So I got to sample some good stuff, but it would be years before I was able to afford a PS1 and a few games.

Now I don't even have the reflexes for 90% of the games out there.

Lol, same here. My reflexes are bad, but I always leaned towards the arcade style games. Contra and such.

Was also pretty big into Jrpg's like Final Fantasy, but now those are hard to go back to, as a kid you don't realize how tedious they are.

FF7 took years of my life, I grinded away on that thing until I was walking death, then terrorized all the hard bosses. hehehe

Never could beat them myself post game (Well after beating the game and loading the save before the boss to finish doing stuff, not technically a post game)

Ever get Knights of the Round or the Chocobo's? Or beat the Gold Saucer battle arena?
