They can't get it right because they don't understand that it's a family of superheroes not something like the Avengers, there's a whole different dynamic to them and they just did regular superhero movies when it calls for something original. It's a shame Stan Lee passed he could have helped them craft something that fit, but I guess when he was still alive they ignored him and did it with focus groups and studio execs meddling with everything. Fvcking studios!
I dunno, they say Stan Lee just rode Kirby's coat tails, and became a mascot figurehead. I was watching a Godzilla movie and Stan Lee was a guest, the hosts asked who would win between Wolverine and Hulk and Stan got this incredulous look on his face and scoffed "Are you out of your mind?? Hulk's way bigger then Wolverine is, he'd just step on him!" The host had to calm him down and gently explain that Logan is indestructible, and he seemed to get the hint and clammed up..
I've been to several boards for research and from what I gather the Hulk wins nearly 95% of the time.
Of course the Hulk he took on 8 Avengers including Thor and She-Hulk the only thing they could do is wear him down Wonder-man almost died Wolverine by himself would never have a chance just read the comic Hulk vs. Wolverine
Oh, I agree. And in comics he usually DOES.
The problem is Logan gets wanked ridiculously because of how popular he is, and gets a lot of wins he really shouldn't get. I mean he gutted a wet Namor the Sub Mariner, and actually near solo'd F'n Count Nafaria (Which puts the Spidey vs Firelord fight to shame imo)
If you want to see a really good match, look up the Hulk Vs cartoons. Wolverine gets in his licks, but it's about as one sided as you'd expect.
It's also a surprisingly good Weapon X origin story, Hulk kind of ruined what was actually a really good Wolverine story.
In the case of Wolverine, he's kind of tied to Hulk because his origin story happened in a Hulk comic.
I remember reading a kids comic that recounted the origin story in a teamup with Grey Mr. Fixit, this was when Hulk was "invulnerable" and even Adamatium couldn't cut him. Then they retcon it to Adamatium cutting anything, and Hulk just healing so fast he doesn't have time to bleed.
But yeah some fights are just so lopsided they're impossible to do without a lot of cheesy writing, Batman vs Superman is the iconic example of that.

Nearly all the time people seem to miss out on the entire "World's Greatest Detective" part about Batman, the guy is a tactical genius on par with Captain America, has crazy martial arts skills on par with Iron Fist, and an indomitable will on par with Hal Jordan, of course with time and resources he can beat anyone.
It's not Superman's fault he has such exploitable weaknesses. Blame the dumbass writers.

Keeping on topic but changing characters, I only read a small handful of comic linex growing up, and Marvel's Transformers was one of them. They invented a character called Circuit Breaker who became paralyzed by Shockwave (Big purple one eyed space gun), and she managed to create this suit of circuitry she wrapped around her body that let her draw electricity from circuits and fry them, plus fly around and partially defend against laser attacks and such. Her traumatized self declared war on all Transformers and spent her career trying to murder them all.
The thing that got me was, none of the Transformers thought "Hey, she's kind of a nuisance. Maybe we should be more pro active here."
I mean, there were probably a million ways to neutralize her powers. How about blasting her with fire retardant foam from the fire truck Transformers? Why not figure out some way to protect your circuits from getting tapped? Or if you're a Decepticon, you have Null Rays or Soundwaves mind control, or super loud sound waves that pop human ear drums.
But nope just wait for that next attack.
You know what I would have done if I was an Autobot? Retractable net cannon.
Fires off a small packet hard enough to knock the wind out of you and binds you up. No human sized target with normal strength is getting out of that.
Would have been super useful against humans in general, non lethal and effective.
Even the mighty Hanma Yujiro in Baki was taken down by a net. 🤗
