You like the bad ones. Seven of nine, Deanna, Jadzia dax where the hottest women on Star Trek.
I mean I use the character creation to set her hips and bust at max and everything else at minimum. 😜
The hip depth I'm not sure where to put it, it kind of makes it look weird at max.

My experience with STO was right at game launch and it was boring.
They have like three Starfleet starters now. 😱
Discovery, basic Starfleet, and TOS (Complete with console sound effects)
The Romulan one is awesome, the movie opening is basically Space Braveheart, yelling about rebuilding Romulus after the homeworld blew up. You start off in a vinyard winery, and you're going against the Romulan secret police.
I hear the Klingon starter lets you be a Gorn.

What was this, when did Romulus blow up? I are sure you don't have Vulcan mixed up with Romulus?

In the first nutrek movie with Chris Pine as Kirk, time travelling ship made a supernova and blew up Romulus and then they blow up Spock's planet of Vulcan, we only find out about the first supernova in Star Trek: Picard.

What game is this, tell me you must share insider information
Like Nuke said.
So far it seems pretty fun, after I updated my drivers and stopped seeing half aliens and invisible enemies.
It's basically a full RP game, great for chilling out because it's not too labor intensive and easy to get into. The high points are all the voice acting by actual Trek actors, it's like being in an episode, and you get ship combat kind of like an improved Legacy and so-so third person shooting (Which is fine by me, I'm not looking for a challenge)
I'd recommend at least trying the original series and Romulan campaigns, they're top shelf (No need to complete one first, do both! I am), the rest I haven't looked into yet.

Free to play means you get assblasted by the Pay to win guys.
Yeah but the PVP scene is a wasteland because of those guys dominating everyone so badly they all quit, saw a Reddit where they were actually begging someone to get annihilated. 😀
PVE is where the fun is, and you can do that 100% free. Pr said they practically give away top tier ships four times or so a year.
See for yourself;
We could coop it! Pick a faction, the three of us could make it a thing.
