A lot of that is tied up in properties, corporate stuff and stock, not a lot of ready cash... in billionaire terms, for the regular person he probably has a grain silo full of hundreds.

The Status Quo must be maintained, no one is going to do anything to make the money stop flowing. {{They}} know this and worship at the alter of it.

Small parts of the world will be horrible for the peons but overall it'll be largely the same forever.

The modern world cannot withstand the complexity and destruction a world war would bring, this is why these small proxy wars are created for resources and weapons contracts.

Nope I could see Russia trying to rule the world. Empires fall and crumble. The world is going threw a shit storm right now. Google Chinese dollar amount or Mexico dollar amount to USD. It will shock you.

If climates change around the world and food supply is scarce then resources will be hard to get.
