Hm, further research suggest she may have been sexually abused by Joss Whedon when she was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, there was a rule on set that she should not be in a room alone with Whedon. Sarah Michelle Geller confirmed this saying she wouldn't want to be associated with Whedon after Buffy.
