I didn't say the people were all bad, nor did I say the town wasn't nice. I said it was punishment. Wouldn't you really like to live somewhere else, maybe better or in a different country? Don't you dream of that because I did, that's why I'm not living in the town I grew up in.
I live in a rich area. The people are snobs. I never liked it other than a secret park that was just for me. But they are bulldozing it and turning into a office. I am moving downtown. I found a nice spot. It is close to the park and I can ride my bike.

The rent is going to cripple you.
I don't rent. I own my place. It is small sure but it is mine. I had to upgrade it when I moved in. The doors, the nobs, the fixtures, added marble touches. I wish I would have changed the floors but things just got in the way. I'm moving to a bachelor downtown. Right now I live in a small loft, one bedroom.

I have 2 bedrooms, 2 more upstairs, 2 and 1/2 bathrooms, a connected garage
with workshop, a wraparound deck, 1/4 acre of green grass yard, another 10 acres of mountainous forest, and a private driveway.
On a good day I never hear any cars or planes. I have to drive 5 miles to get to the
nearest neighbor and another 15 for the nearest small village.
To each his own, I hope you enjoy it as I enjoy mine.

Well the difference is I live in Chelsea. It's a bit more expensive and everything is around me so no need to go anywhere, which is a shame because I will miss the convenience of everything
