I took one of those I.Q tests online and rated high for problem solving. I wonder how accurate these tests are. Apparently Steve Jobs is at 160. Mine was 130-40. But like I mentioned these are just averages, how accurate are these tests?

I took one in 5th grade, scored a 120. Pretty average, but I can chew food and walk, yay me.

What I always wonder, how is it that they are always discovering kids with high I.Q's? It's not like the kids are doing anything spectacular. It's very rare that a 10 year old is attending University.

I'm no Mensa member but I was reading college level books in 5th grade and was entirely bored with what the teachers were trying to hammer into us, so for years I was in the Library in the University reading anything that looked interesting.

It's one thing to read, it's another to understand. I think most geniuses are bored stiff at formal education. I remember seeing a special on the world's smartest man and I believe he was a janitor or something so simple
