I finally remembered a dream, it was I think shortly after several countries (India Pakistan China the Koreas and Russia) exchanged nuclear strikes and set off a soft nuclear winter because it was cold and snowy in the summer but not terribly so. I was walking in a field near our old ranch without a coat in just shorts & tshirt and I happened upon a lady walking in the other direction with her kids and she offered me a coat. Said they were trying to find their dog that had run off, and then there was a whole fleet of helicopters roaring past overhead like 20-30 of them hauling ass toward the city and we both wondered what that was all about. That's all I can remember about it.

Well the Nuclear part sounds about right. But I don't think people would survive if weapons are being fired. I think everything would die at that point

As for being chased, that might have to do with some trauma. Like you feel guilty about something

India hits Pakistan with 2 or 3 nukes, Pakistan retaliates with 2. Damage is limited to Asia Minor.

Russia hits China with 5 or 6 nukes, China fires back 6 or 7. Damage is limited to Eastern Europe and China.

North Korea nukes South, r.i.p. entire Korea.

Not enough nukes to cause major nuclear winter. Lots of survivors but they won't be happy for a few decades.

I have researched the effects of nuclear weapons since the 80s, I supervised the loading of Trident missiles onto subs in the Navy, I'd say that makes me sufficiently qualified to estimate damage assessment.

We'll we can't ignore Chernobyl or Hiroshima. But be it from me to say you know what you are talking about 😂

Two different things, a meltdown involving a radiation cloud affecting eastern europe 7and a single target bomb leveling a city leading to a fallout pattern that didn't even go across to the west coast. Neither event would trigger a nuclear winter which is what we're talking about, yes the radiation would kill millions but there would be survivors in areas not effected.

AND HOW IS THIS EVEN A DISCUSSION WHEN IT WAS FROM A DREAM, YOU DINK!!
