Well, that's debateable, depending on where you stand on this issue of levels of canonical applicability.

I don't think that it matters what color Luke wore. I think that he was trying to look intimidating. After all, he is the last Jedi. What made him decide to choose a green lightsaber anyway?

Maybe he had great taste in saber colours. 😉
