Charles Bronson
I was the special effects co-ordinator on Bronsons last death Wish fil..Death Wish 5, The Faces of Death. It was great working with Bronson. He was a real gentleman, great to chat to, a real professional.
When the film finished shooting, he gave me the leather coat that he wore in the film, and an autographed picture.
As I worked with him, I remembered seeing him in The Great Escape when I was a kid. One day on the set, I asked if if he watched the rushes of the what we had shot the day before. He said."I never watch my stuff". It was such a pleasure to work with him, and I was saddened to see he passed away. He was 72 when he shot Death Wish 5, and he was in great shape, and tough as nails!!
