Herr Logan
Critical Bastard
Psylocke was always a 3rd-rate character. Sabretooth may not have psychic powers and a super-slut swimsuit, but he makes more of an impact and is more entertaining. Obviously you have to be joking when you suggest Wolverine purposefully left all the psychics on the team without an edge. By having Sabretooth wounded in such a way that "the glow" wouldn't have any effect, leaving him to indulge his violent urges, that gave Sabretooth a way to plow through Psylocke (as a 2nd-tier villain should defeat a 3rd-rate hero) and bypass that pesky detail of that ridiculous psychic knife she had. The only reason I'm sorry she got gutted like that was because it just led to more attention being paid to that little tramp. Oh, God! Betsy is dying! Let's have Worthington show what a true hero he is by saving the life of his primary source of tail. And let's have Gambit prove, in front of no witnesses, that he is "truly an X-Man this day," and then have that narrative proclaimation thrown out the window once his dirty little secret is out in front of God and everybody. Does anyone not remember that Psylocke viciously attacked Jean Grey when she was confronted with trying to manipulate Cyclops into an affair? Is this not a fire-able offense? Oh, she was in a different body than before, that's right! Doesn't matter. If I was Xavier, I would have cut the little whore from the team and had both her and the woman in her original body--Revanche, or whatever she called herself-- disabled of their powers (like he did to the Vanisher, although that didn't work long-term). Friggin' rogue psychic ninjas aren't worth the aggravation.
