Betsy dying in the first place was, I think, just to show that the heroes don't always win. Her death didn't give her much justice, for she died in, what, six panels? And we saw it through a reflection in Beast's eye, too.
Something's happening, in the X-Universe. I can't say quite what, but I've got to say there's one major villain behind it all. Who? I'm at a loss, but it's SOMEONE, and when that someone shows up, it'll be not-so-surprising to me that Betsy be the one to play a pivotal role.
As for powers, I've never quite studied Betsy that much to understand everything.
There definetly is a secret to the resurrection. I say Gateway has to do something with it. I think he snuck her into Dreamtime long enough to talk to Bishop back in early X-Treme.
She's gonna be more powerful, I see that happening almost 100%. People usually die for a reason, and I've missed that with Betsy.
People in Betsy's past are gonna play an important role, expect that. Don't be surprised if the Shadow King shows up, too.
Well we saw Betsy's insane brother awhile back. Think it was the "Guess whos back in town" story. There was something to his appearance. I can't remember if he was ever killed off or not. Her other brother Brian is returning during the House of M story. I agree that it seems like one huge plan. Now it would take cunning. Years of experimenting. Someone powerful & smart. Hiding in the shadows, watching. This plan seems like it's been in place for awhile. I know of one person, my favorite villian Mr Sinister. It would be so awesome for them to rebuild him as the true mastermind he is. I really don't think we'll see the return of Apocalypse for awhile, but he will someday. Magneto is with Charles right now. while there are other villians, no one I fell that could pull off something of this scope. Betsy could even be a clone, and was teleported to the place of 'her' death. Maybe some hidden programming for when the time comes to reveil himself. As far as i know it was never explained WHO was playing Erix/Xorn in Planet X. A possable clone of Sinisters, to see if he could sneak someone on the team and them not notice it. His whole trying to destroy New York may not been part of Sinister's plans though. I would also love to see Nate Grey return. Killing people just cause there books are canceled isn't a good excuse. Sorry if I rambled on too long.

Sinister would indeed be cool. And he SEEMS like he could be pulling it off, too. I mean, honestly, I can't see Mojo doing any of this.
Ooh, I always liked Sinister. He's just fricken awesome, everything about him. I LOVE the affination he has with the Summers family tree.
Mojo is cool, but has a tv attentsion span. There really is no villian more cunning then Sinister. And he's just been gone from the big spot light for too long. He was in Weapon X there towards the end but not in it alot. He has something planed with that Neverland camp. I've just always been a huge Sinister fan. I also like Stryfe quite a bit. He died but then again who really dies. I didn't really think his 'death' was in character anyways.
