I have no background money so I get a longsword for that, and I borrowed 1,55 gp from fitch for a shield and a rigid leather.

ok.. And you did get the stuff I posted on the last page, right? Arrows, quiver, weapon belt, general equipment

So.. Is there an advantage one way or another for a non-fighting type to wear soft leather or none? (I can't wear rigid leather) Also, I assume I don't always have to wear it?

Aside from most likely striking first (you act in manouevre score order) I cannot recommend staying in a melee for any length of time without Rigid or better armour.

no I meant in terms of unarmored vs soft leather which is better, I can't wear rigid leather

There is technically no 'better', just different.

((Ush: You didn't post my character equipment. I have the general a rigid leather and my "free" double handed sword. I got one gp from Revan and another from TPT and I will travel on Revan's horse))

I did not comment on your equipment, Corlindel, as there were no problems with it.

Corlindel turn to the others and says " I can do the first watch night with Eliara."

(Airwing shall do the second night...Better get another elf to watch the second night asap. Rivendell is boring 🙂)
