Right then! Looks like the Rivendell group is off.
Now, here comes the fun part. Elves do not sleep as such but once every few days they do need to go into a sleep-like meditative state. So long as an Elf does this, s/he never gets tired BUT the problem is that the meditiative state has a built-in 'alarm clock' and it is VERY hard to wake up an Elf from one early. Noises won't do it; a great effort has to be made to wame one up.
Humans sleep as normal; Half-Elves need four hours of either sleep or meditation each night.
That borne in mind, should an 'encounter' happen during the night, who will be on watch. and who will be resting? One third of the Elves, at least, should be resting.
And the other question is, what kind of pace will you set? Will you keep on riding day or night no matter what? That's the fastest option but it will kill your horses and, if you run intro trouble, you as well. On the other hand, set a slow place and Baranar may be burning by the time you get there. With no rewards for saying 'somewhere between those two', what kind of pace do you want to set? This is Ranger talk, but remember not everyone is as fast or hardy as you might be...
Corlindel is on Revan's horse walking with the group and says "I think we should ride as fast as possible, to gain some time, along the Bruinen and rest when he find someplace where we can cross the river. Then , to the south of Mitheithel and Bruinen cross, We may find some path
to the reach the western side of the Bruinen, but we shall rest at the eastern side, There are less changes to avoid some dunlendings or ocrs at in this side"
"What the rangers think?" Asks Corlindel looking to the vet ranger Palanfirith.
Eliara rides along on Starlight continuing to follow the others. Her location is towards the middle back in the caravan of warriors.
Her emerald eyes gazed around and watched the scenery of Rivendell change as they ride along.
BIC:
While riding she takes her long dark reddish colored hair and begins to braid hair on each side of her head into a french braid.
After thirty minutes or so both braids are done and she pulls them to the back of her head and ties them both together. She added a yellow ribbon to give it a little flair.
She was dressed in her black riding pants and a yellow tank top that showed off her slim figure. Her top v-necked down and stopped just before her cleavage.
She had brought her favorite black jacket, for it gets cold at night. She had brought a few thicker clothes as well which will provide much warmth as the weather changes to cold.
(ooc: is it spring...winter...fall or summer? I am assuming the weather is warm now???)
(okie..i changed the bridge thing.....😮 sorry.....)

"Being a half elf I can manage my sleep at night, however I can also do watches. I do not have to meditate when we are travelling, I can do that once we reach Baranor." Eliara says.
"I can take first watch, unless someone else has already chosen to do so." She continues.
"I rested enough last night through meditation." She finished.
She glanced around and pierced her eyebrows, she was waiting for someone to object about a female taking watch.
*looks round, turns head to talk to Palanfirith (you still on the back of Emoras Fitch?)* "What do you think, I think we should travel as much as we can in a day dont forget some of us need rest and we will kill our horses if we keep travelling all day, so I think 8 hours of rest a night would be advicable with a watch ofcourse probably elves and half elves. Maybe stop for a few short breaks in between the travelling as well horses grow tired just like men"

"Will you take the 2nd shift then Airwing?" Eliara asked him. She was pleased that he hadn't bashed her for stepping up...as she was a lady.
"Ok then, if no one has any objections on me getting the 2nd shift then I and Yorae will take the 2nd shift" Said Airwing with a smile on his face, Airwing was always smiling no matter the situation, it was just his way.
