the next supernova, people have told me i should go coz im into anime

people have told me i shoud go to the supernova coz i love anime, i looked at the site and found its happening next year and am planning to go,

can anyone give me some important info i should know

any hints or things to remember, is it worth going if i want lots of posters

wat kind of set up is it?????

im looking forward to it

well, i dunno 😕...a supernova's pretty dangerous. Plus you probably wouldn't live to tell the story😉

😄

lol

u do know which supr nova im talking about i assume

u r just being funny

well...it's said our sun won't turn into a supernova....so i don't know how you can reach a star who will

Astronomically speaking we get three supernovaes a century in our galaxy. It’s about time for one. But I doubt any manga/anime factories could set one off… Hmm… One never knows with those ingenious Japanese, though 😄

mm..3? really?...and what's the shockwave range?

We wouldn't notice it for quite sometime...

3 per century...that's a resonable time span in a man's life

i mean the convention thing that happens once a year and its to do with like tv and movie

u know wat im talkin bout

i think your just trying to be funny

it has nothing to do with the sun or astrology

You wouldn't see any that happened this century

Sorry, Shadow Link, we were being flippant, yes. Can't help you at all, personally, but good luck with it all anyway!

with teh time it would take for the light from the nova to reach earth, you would be an old lady.

probably not...because only 2 years have passed in this century....
but bf's right

That is kinda what I meant.

You would see the ones that happened in the past though...

yup...
considering that i'd live for let's say...70 years (just a number) isn't there any chance that one might have started within 70 light years of earth?

Crumbs, you would be lucky! Very few stars in the Galaxy that close to our own!

the only one i know is alpha centauri system...at 4 light years away. I think there's one at 7 light uyears too..but i know no other
