Who should play Gambit?

I know he's not, he's Cajun. Even so, the accent sounds really cool. Pardone moi anyway if I can't think of any decent actors to play him.

Hey, in case anyone's interested, I just read on upcomingmovies.com that Gambit could be getting his own movie... but they don't know... It might get thrown out the window. Just thought I'd share 🙂

hmm, well here's hoping it doesn't...But I'm not holding my breath 🙁

I suppose you're not looking forward to a Gambit movie 🙂 Oh well. I like Gambit... it would be cool to have a Gambit movie, what with him being involved in a sort of 'Southern Underworld' (I guess you'd call it that) so there'd be a ton of action/drama crap. But I doubt it would get high ratings, because obviously they're X-Men. You can't just have one, because there's a whole X-Universe to be introduced. It just doesn't work that way 🙂

Its not that I don't want a Gambit movie! I would LOVE one! I just don't think its gonna happen...

😱 They should SO make a Gambit movie!!!! Well it doesn't need to involve the other X-Men. I doubt the movie they want to do for Wolverine is going to. Hell the X-Men movies barely contain the X-Men 🙄 But that would rock if Gambit got his own movie 😎

What does it matter who we think should play Gambit,as Singer will probably pick someone who isn't anything like Gambit and mess his character up.That is what he does best ie Magneto,Rogue & Pyro.

i won't agree... magneto was just GREAT! pyro wasn't half that bad

but rogue... 😘 and yeah, i'm afraid that singer will just **** up gambit 😬

Don't get me wrong I like the movie Rogue and Pyro but they weren't the comic or cartoon characters hopefully that will change in the next movie.As for Magneto,his character was fine I just don't think the actor choice was a good one.

let's hope he hears the fans just a little bit and not mess it all to turn it "real" like he always says...i don see anything more real in Rogue screaming all the time and being a Jubilee...Gambit must be kinda like in the comics, of course some things have to change but he must keep the essence of him onscreen...

wee, lisa, i thikn that the choice of actor for magneto was one of the good ones actually... i don't like rogue though... anna is just TERRIBLE. she can't play rogue, she isn't rogue... that's just BLEH... but pyro... pyro is a badass in the movies and he wasn't like that in the comics as far as i know, but stanford isn't SUCH a bad choice... at least he can ACT a bit... but now back on topic.

NO bloom for gambit and NO townsend for gambit. Drew FUller was a nice choice (*sigh*)

The choice of actors arent necessarily bad, they just make them into differnt characters-theyd be changed whoever played them.i prefer that you get to see pyro become a badass from atroubled teen.Anna a differnt rogue,i think she plays her well but she cant change her script or her character.

this wouldn't be too bad, I just don't think the ratings would be as high as one of the regular X-movies. But someone to play Gambit, I have no idea... Well, I think atleast someone from the South. I mean, I like Anna Paquin, I really do, but her accent sucks. She puts us Southerners to shame. So yeah I know Remy's Cajun and he'll need that accent but if they can't find a decent Cajun actor (which I severely doubt) they need to atleast find a true southerner... 🙂

im sure theyd find someone with a french aceent,failing that european accent-he'll probably pick an unknown anyway.how old should he be though?teen?cyclops age?

between those two...Gambit should be a little older than Rogue...

yeah but not too much older... we don't need any guys running around and people thinking he's a chester or something... lol. No more than like maybe 5 years older than Rogue... two or three would be legitimate

Gambit is to cool for all these actors, but the best choice would be Stephen Dorif
