Eh.... I'm not sure about this one... I may have to think on it. But Colin as Gambit? I don't really think it's such a good idea, since he already did Bullseye. And Hayden Christiansen has established his name already. But if anything, I could see him as one of the brotherhood boys... maybe lance alvers?

Actually I can kinda see this... lol. I'm still with Stephen but this Martinez guy could pull it off.

Problem is, he's French. Thick French accent.

Erm...He lives in the US (and he's a professionnal). I think the accent is absolutely not a problem. (May I remind you that the Dutch actress did rather well in the movies...she no longer have an accent)

I suppose Kes is right in a way... but if he's an actor, shouldn't he be able to downplay it just a tad?

I think he can perfectly play with almost no accent. But the reason some want him as Gambit is his ability to play with a Cajun accent. And I think he can make it.

Living in the U.S means nothing. I'd have to see Taking Lives but I doubt he can hide that accent. Specially with having to say a few words in French.

He's suppused to play a man from Quebec (a French speaking area of Canada) in that movie ! irrelevent ! 🙄

Indeed, but they also speaking english so if his english was good he would speak correctly. So far havent seen a movie with him wear he doesnt have a thick accent.

*agrees* So if our American friends could pay attention : Please try & listen to Olivier Marinez's next interview. He's Kylie Minogue's bf as far as I remember and he played in several film including SWAT and Taking Lives . We'd like to know if he has a thick French accent whenever he speaks normally.
