I read somewhere that Gambit had a cameo in X2 but it was cut out and didn't even make the deleted scenes, does anyone know who they got to play Gambit in the cameo? b/c it might be the guy that's playing him in x3 if he's in x3

Yes, Gambit made a *brief* cameo in X2. One of the stuntmen on the set caught the director's eye and cast him as a quick Gambit. His name is James Bamford. I was going to post you a link to a picture of him, but the forum won't let me because I'm "new". To me, he's a little too old to play Gambit, simply because I think he should be younger in the movie.

I heard that they were going to release X2.5 around the holiday before the next movie, like they did with X1.5. I'm hoping that the deleted scene of Gambit is in it, since it isn't in the current X2 DVD.
