GS, Tathar Nenharma.. hmm.
tathar - 'willow' Sindarin
nen - 'water'
harma - 'treasure' Quenya
So, your name means.. ah.. "Willow Water-treasure / Willow Treasure of Water." That's a certainly poetic name for a male. *snickers*
And.. does anyone notice that alot of these names are names of different characters in Tolkien literature mixed up and put together? I would think that these people have more imagination than that..
My 'elvish' name is Ériän Unduláviel. Mutilated form of "Maiden Drowning in Loneliness." Somewhere along those lines.
er - alone/lonely
ian - maiden/daughter of
undulav - to drown
iel - feminine suffix
Name: Ériän Unduláviel © Rin & Stuff Inc.
I believe that I've told you the translation of my 'elvish' name in my previous entry. Unless, of course, you mean the name 'Rin'? In Japanese, it has many meanings. But I believe my parents meant to name me after the word: 'apple,' 'forest,' 'extraordinary,' 'seaside,' or 'companion.' Not that those words help me in any way whatsoever.
