take a look at the attached image, it's from a season 2 simpsons ep.

homer (with hair 馃槢) even uses a key to open the doors, much like persephone does.

in one of the intro's they are all running for the sofa, then the camera spins around then they all jump onto it.

I just thought it would be funny to see Mr. Burns attack Homer like Smith did to Neo.
