Deano feels the same way. How does it feel to be in such illustrious company?😉

That's an irony that's lost on alot of people who read it.

Well.....Bryan Adams is from Canada!

Oh yeah, he shoots, he scores.

If thou shoots too early too often, thy likelihood of scoring diminishes. vin

I think you both need to be attracted to the portrait of Dorian Gray. He was a fox. vin

Pedonecrophilia?

Dead children are funny.

Catcher in the Rye was okay - but I read it after university, and by then I had read so many good books that it was just another good book, it didn't really stand out for me.

I read "I am David" when I was still quite young, and that made a HUGE impression on me.

If we are talking about classic books - "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest" was excellent, as was "Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test." On another note, I have just finished Marilyn Manson's autobiography - and all I can say is "Boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy..."

I always liked what Dennis Miller said about the book and it's author:

"J.D. Salinger released his book, "catcher in the rye" today. He plans to promote the book by disappearing and never being heard from again."

In my English class back in High School. I had the choice of reading Catcher on the Rye or On the Road by Kerouac. I told the teacher I was going to go with Kerouac.

Maybe one day I'll read Catcher on the Rye.
