Calypso is a goddess or somethin, right?
Sorta. 😛 She was the Greek goddess of silence - a nymph - living in seclusion on the island of Ogygia. When Odysseus washed ashore her island she decided to keep him as company, and though she treated him very well - like a child - he was incredibly unhappy. After seven years, Zeus saw it, didn't like it, and sent Hermes to release him. Alone again, Calypso died of grief as he sailed away.
Olufemi, I think that's a beautiful name. It makes me think that there are too many Marias and Jessis. 🙂
