Surprises of EPIII

is this the same guy i saw in sw insider? he looks like a clone trooper on steroids.

That must have been Durge.

He had a Mandalorian symbol on his armor right?

yeah...and he was friggin; huge.

Rumours say Tarkin IS an actor with prostetics.

Some reports are saying he's an extra with prostetics.

Others are going with both, saying that there is an extra with prostetics for far away shots, and an actor with prostetics for close ups.

dunno what it is, but the pic on TFN makes me think he could be in it, though one could say that the timing is suspicious

Who knows.

But this is the best info we have of him being in right now.

Well doesn't he go into allegiance with Vader and the Emperor?? Maybe it's to help show this and link the trilogies?? Or to show how he and Vader came to know each other?? I dunno...

Well in ANH he is title Gran Moff and I guess he is higly rated with the Emperor since he kind of holds Vaders leach and is the boss of DS. My impression is that he has a higher rank than Vader. Even though Vader force strokes one of the higher officers in ANH, his(Vaders) I dont care about Imperrial officers of higher rank attitude aint displayed in full until ESB.

I think Vader is sort of a lackey for Tarkin, but once he's dead Vader gets to be more badass without a leash holder.

Thats how I look at it too, thats why I mentioned the Tarkin baddie thing in the ohter post. Somehow he is favored by the Emp

Maybe because he is so sinister.

If he were a force adept, he'd probably become an apprentice as well.

Tarkin was Governor of the Outer Regions, which I guess effectively made him ruler of all the outer worlds, whilst Palpatine ruled the Inner. Presumably making him the number two man in the Galaxy. Vader was staggeringly important of course, but in the end was just an agent for the Emperor.

Tarkin and Vader appeared to be friends, anyhow.

indeed thay did, but it looks like tarkin is the boss out of those two.

Yes, it's clear to see that.

The way he told him to do things.

or told Vader to let go when force stroking Tagge??? with the words "ENOUGH OF THIS" to withc Vader repleyd with a real dry and uninterested "As you wish"

If someone lower than me said "Enough of this!" I would have gotten an attitude.

So it proves Vader was lower on the ladder than Tarkin.

Too, Vader went to Tarkin when he sensed Obi-Wan. Almost for approval to do something, to let his superior officer know what he thought, what he was planning.

I think it was a warning not to interfere as well

That too.
