1st of all, yes they would. He is just eye candy.
2nd, gets picked for movies because of his role in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, which he was actually good in, only because he played a total idiot (obivously an easy role to play).

That's right, "(to the best of my knowledge)". I don't have to be a director/producer to be a professional or even think professionally.

I am only criticizing her opinion because in NO way AT ALL is Keanu Reeves the best actor in the world. Even YOU know that. There are some things that are a matter of opinion, and some that are a matter of fact. It's opinion to like his acting, it's fact he is not the best.

Yes but do you know without a doubt he was cast for his looks?
Also I do agree he is not the best actor but he does bring something to his work, his movies are enjoyable and I do like his performance in some.
For example The Devil's Advocate was wonderful and I truthfully believe that he did a very good job in it!

No one except the casting director can know "without a doubt" that he was cast for his looks.

I didn't see the Devil's Advocate.. I'll try to get around to it.

I am not saying that it will sway your thoughts of him, but in my opinion it is one of his best performances, and this movie is more darker than the usuals 😄

I do think Neo was the perfect part for him.

I'll give the guy credit, he has an incredible knack for picking parts for movies that are good, and that become very popular, but don't necessarily require any particular acting ability (Speed, The Matrix)
