hey.. have you heard this?? i just found out..

"Matrix" star Keanu Reeves has struck a new film deal since completing the futuristic trilogy. The actor is set to star in Richard Linklater's "A Scanner Darkly", adapted from the novel written by Phillip K. Dick.

The film will employ live-action technology and animation, as done in Linklater's previous film, "Waking Life".

"A Scanner Darkly" follows an undercover detective played by Reeves, in a futuristic world where people can change their faces and identities. The cop gets into trouble when he takes too much of the mysterious drug Substance D, which causes his personality to split in two.
