maybe he is in a turkish prison.

mid-september which is technically still going on, so he'll be back in 4 days max I think

He'll be back once the funding comes through for the alien exchange program.

Thats what I've been seeing on the news. He's in quite a pickle. Maybe they should just give the power back to the queen.
