but i still don't have any 🙁

then don't vote Connery for best Bond 😱

i think i voted already 😕

meanie cry

excusem me very much schmoll why am i being a meanie now?

On reflection I'd have to say that Dalton was the best Bond, he looked calm, secure, always in control of the character. Moore would be my second favourite because he brought charming personality but could also look violent if he wanted to. Then I'd have to go with Brosnan
(only from Goldeneye and TND)

I don't rate Connery as a good Bond at all, he was too wooden in facial expression and movement.

moore looking volient? 😑 i haven't notice...i always felt like laughing when he was making all those "calm" faces 😕

but you're right with dalton being in control. but with him i missed some humour 😕

Yeah, Dalton didn't like humour, he tried to get a funny line out in one of his films but it was delivered through clenched teeth and painful to hear.
But I can understand why he would choose not to because some of the lines that were said by the other Bonds tended to stick out like a sore thumb sometimes and that was painful. Probably the worst was delivered by Brosnan and I physically cringe when I hear it "They'll print anything these days" after throwing someone into the printing press.
Same with the "Bond, James Bond" and "Vodka Martini, shaken, not stirred". Dalton said those trademark lines casually and with easy confidence, the other actors made too much of a fuss over how they said them.

About Moore, yeah he didn't seem that violent but he tried.

tried..good word.... 😂

and you're right. but still some humour...maybe not in kind of that printing... but still would be nice.

I'm not sure LSZ...
I remember the "bond, james bond" from LTK, he said it very quick and like it being more of a sidenote, while when you deliver that line you have to show some pride and respect

Pierce gave some good "bond, james bond"'s, where he makes it sound the others have to shit their pants when hearing the name

Yeah, but who gives their name like that, really? I think Dalton recognised the absurdity of holding such reverence for the way three words are delivered and decided to get on with the film.

It just stands out to me when I hear " Bond, *long pause where actor does some interesting thing with his face or a cigarette lighter* James Bond". I'll admit its an iconic trademark for the character but totally unnecessary all the time.

either i don't remember properly..either
the lighter thing was peirce in goldeneye..and he was setting on fire some girls (xenia's?) cigerette.

but i may be just making stuff up.

I got the lighter idea from Connery at the casino table (if he used a lighter that is - I can't remember)

it was in different movie???
but...there was cassino too 😕 bag *has made an idiot of herself*

I was referring to where Connery is sitting at the casino table, says
"Bond, * pauses to light a cigarette* James Bond"

but he has setted on fire some girls cigarette, right? cry

No, just his own.

cry but there was the same scene..i remember
