Actually, my favorite was seeing Singin' in the Rain in Londons westend back in 198something.

Tommy Steele was doing the Gene Kelly part and Roy Castle played the Donald O'Connor part. Can't remember who played Debbie Renolds part though.

Anyway, they did the whole rain sequence bit with gallons of water pouring down onto the stage. Tommy Steele was soaked but within 90 seconds of the end of the number they had him back on stage for the next scene, completely dry and ready to continue. The audience went WILD over that.

I wasn't saying it was a good or bad thing...simply an RC Fact. 🤣

I've never seen a Broadway show, well I've never been to New York but I would like to get up there sometime. Well, if RC is showing his age....I like the Marx brothers and the Three Stooges... 😄
