Rumours: The Outsiders - Remake

i read on a site somewhere, that there might be a remake to francis ford coppola's 1982 movie "the outsiders", is this true? (the movie was based on s.e. hinton's book called by the same title.)

i read this book and watched the movie for english. i liked the book but the movie was a little hard to see.....

would anyone want to see a remake of this movie?

i prob would. i mean with different actors who you knew and better lighting i think it would be kewl....

don't know enough actors that are the age of the characters from the books. i know of some great guys, but they can't really pass for teenagers. mostly people in their 20's and so forth can't pass.

i mean i wouldn't mind a few older people playing the parts:
aston kutcher, chad michael murray, amy smart, jena mallone. i mean they might fit the profile but they're hot (guys) prety (girls)

depending on who they are...but those people look too old for all of the other characters maybe darry, dally, twobit and some of the other socs and greasers.

i know, the movie that they've made witht he characters are prety good. but they'll have to find other people and i don't think they will because they have to find new people and they have to beat the other movie!!

i know, what a great cast, but such a shame that cinematography and moving making tech wasn't good back then...

whom could you imagine as the director? someone like alfonso cuaron who directed harry potter three or somone like that. does quality work.

i didn't like the director for hp3 - (don't get me started) someone else

well i loved what he did. or maybe someone like sam raimi, or some guy who does drama movies really well. maybe the guy whose directing the fourth hp movie...mike newell?

yea i think we should get mike newell. better than hp3. i think that hp3 wasn't too good left to many things out etc
