What’s awing the department isn’t the machinery, it’s how it was built and who built it. It’s not working, mind you. It absorbs more energy than it releases.
But I, as always, trust science to overcome the obstacles. 20 years from now (and in time for the fantasy machines from 01)
fusion is the oposite of fission... fusion take two atoms and put them together... it creates massive amounts of energy.... the sun is a fusion reactor. the amount of heat and pressure need to accomplish fusion is massive and so far not possible on earth by the hands of man. cold fusion was thought to be able to overcome that but it turned out to be a pipe dream. my only question is will we really use it only for peaceful purposes...
what this kid made was reactor that has been around for a while... its just that a kid built it with spare parts that makes it neat.
