Ok, we now have a possible new confirmation.

It's been confirmed by Rick McCallum that Padme will die on screen.

But don't a lot of people on these forums think he's a little ODD??

to have Padme die onscreen really messes up things allready done in the OT, too me it seems like they dont pay too much attention to whats allready been done.

well we all know she doees die before EP IV, but I think it will be a huge mistake to make it happen in EpIII, considering the words of Leia in ROTJ

I don't think it makes sence that Chewie is involved hiding the twins, that give him a different role in the rest of the films, don't you guys think. Wookies can't have thier memories erased, droids can.

Maybe Chewie was part of the plan all along. Perhaps it will play out that he owes Obi a life debt for saving him from something in Episode III so Obi tells him to be in that cantina with a ship in 18 years to help begin a new hope for the galaxy. Perhaps Obi-Wan and Yoda forsaw it. I know its a stretch but....

Actually, on second thought GL probably has us all chasing our tails on the speculation with all of the info released so far completely false. Wouldnt suprise me, since I believe that this is the movie that 99% of the fans have waited to see since the release of The Empire Strikes Back and we found out who Vader really is.
