you know how there is only Harry, Ron, Seamus, Neville and Dean their age in Griffindor. Why in the first movie, when Percy was taking them to the common room, there was like 10 of them.

accually i thnk that there were more jst that they were behind them so you couldnt see them!

There are more there age then that, you just don't hear of them, that's all.

Nah, there's more. JK Roling just emphisises on those characters because they're the main ones, and Harry's friends. He doesn't know the others, so they really don't have any parts in the films, or the books for that matter.
