I saw it as a preview for Underworld. I remember thinkin "Oh great, a commercial", because sometimes the theather will show one for some reason. As soon as they mention "Umbrella Corporation", I chuckled. It was a neat way of doing a preview I thought.

well i saw underworld tonight, with the preview, pretty cheesy preview, guess they didnt wanna show actual footage of the movie because they knew people would be disapointed.

Why exactly did you people hate the Resident Evil movie?
What were your expectations?
I myself liked it. And I have been a big fan of Resident Evil games since I played it when there was still no US version (yup, played it while guessing what the Japanese characters meant).
