Book Six.

I just finished book six, the second story in Return of the King the chapter titled Mt. Doom. I haven't read to the very very end, but I finally read to the part where the ring is either destroyed or it isn't. I won't spoil it, but my oh my. I can't wait to see the movie even more now. If it's anything like the book it will be the best one by far.

I anticipate it will be the best of the three movies. I love ROTK!

Rotk was my favorite book like many... i finished it at like four o'clock in the morning and had school the next day... i couldn't stop, it was the best... the movie is going to rock!!!

i agree muse.... im willing to bet like anything that RotK will be the best one yet...ohhh i can NOT wait for the Pellenor Fields battle *squirm*!!!!!!!! In an interview with elijah he said that it was gonna b better than one and two combined, as hard as that is to believe.!!! 😄 i cant wait i cant wait!!! bouncing off walls!

yea i know like in fotr they cut out one of the coolest characters.. tom bambadil i just hope they don't cut otu something important

the tom thing could go either way... the people(like me) who read the book looked for him in the movies and were slightly dissapointed but it really didn't change the plot majorly or anything...

I also hope they don't cut anything important although I also heard they cutted off they "coming back to the shire" stuff. Of course, it is nicer to finish off the movie with all the exitement of the battle but hey: come on man!
You outta show how our hobbit friends have changed into warriors and stuff. I mean, I know is not like a MAYOR part of the plot (like Tom B. wasn't eather) but I still don't agree. Like I never did eather with the change they made on FOTR that shows Merry and Pip "bumping" into Frodo and Sam instead of the real courageus/"friends till the end": "we are going with you no matter what!" if you know what I mean...
Can´t wait!

Yes PJ stated that they'd cut the Return to the Shire; Im absolutely angry about that because Tolkien said it was very important to him.
PJ also mentioned in an interview that the film would end at the grey havens
(though it seems that we'll also see Arwens death (trailer))
