well i dunno about now, but in all the old "regular" x-men that i'm reading that's how they drew his eyes, until he was angry or his power was used.

wow id be alot wolverine, storm, jean, mystique, nightcrawler or colossus

Gambit. He has cool powers but his personality and charisma are even cooler. Plus he's ladies man (can't go wrong with that)
