Remember Snape's Memory from the Pensieve? In that chapter, Lily Evans was telling off James Potter for hurting and playing with Severus Snape. That memory obviously revealed that James and Lily did NOT get along well at first. Lily Evans even called James some sort of a "show off". Its very possible then that they were always quarrelling -- just like Ron and Hermione are!

All I'm trying to say is that there's a definite pattern here-- opposite poles attract!
James and Lily didnt like each other at first but ended up married. Arthur & Molly Weasley are also always arguing like Ron and Hermione-- and they are married.
I have a personal experience about this-- I had a male friend who I used to argue with a lot. Its just that we always have opposite opinion about every topic-- politics, entertainment, fashion.
I thought of him as Mr.Know-it-all who loves to argue just for the sake of argument-- I mean he defends his side, not bcoz he believes in it, but bcoz he just wants to prove that he knows a lot more than me, he just wants to beat me in a big debate.
I was so annoyed with him but I didnt realize back then that the truth is that I was afraid that he doesnt like me and my arguments were just a defense mechanism-- I didnt want to fall for him bcoz I know it wont work out coz we are exact opposites. Later on, when he was already my boyfriend, he revealed to me that he felt exactly the same about me!

-- Assume away! I assume that Ron will be an Auror too! There's nothing in the books that say James & Lily are Aurors. Not all members of the Order are Aurors, c'mon! Mundungus isnt, Sirius isnt, Arthur Weasley isnt. Molly Weasley isnt. Dumbledore isnt. Snape isnt. Lupin isnt. Bill Weasley isnt. Charlie Weasley isnt... so on.
4. So far, only two people in the HP book series have been seen traveling back through time both together and separately, thereby, repeating history.
-- This is too good -- how about the fact that the only 2 people who have been possessed by Voldemort are -- Ginny & Harry! Remember that Ginny was possessed by Tom Riddle (Voldemort at age 16-17). Its exactly the same as saying Harry and Ginny will end up together!
I dont even want to consider the color of hair and eyes, and the like, as a point of discussion here, these are either just minor, coincidental or just plainly too insignificant.

we can laugh all we want. we believe that r/hr isnt the most likely pair. besides, who cares about a poll? so what? all it shows is how many ppl ship r/hr and h/hr. but it doesnt explain much. i dont really care if there r thousands of r/hr shippers. it doesnt influence my belief on it. and i dont think it will others. so 2 me, that poll is useless.
If you'll let me, I'll represent Harry/Ginny. ^_^ I support this ship so much, next to Ron and Hermoine. I seriously think Harry should and will end up with Ginny. It's an obvious matter. I have a lot more to argue about this ship, and I have very good reasons too.
Oh, and just want to remind everyone that this thread is for "who HARRY should end up with"... Sorry to burst RHr shippers' bubbles (like me, LOL!), but we should only talk about who HARRY should end up with as the thread creator made it very specific and clear.
i'm a H/Hr shipper but after seeing POA, i wouldnt really mind if Hermy ended up with Ron. there was so much tension between Ron and Hermione during the buckbeak scene with harry and also when it was just the two of them looking at the shrieking shack. it was also cute when Ron would get surprised whenever Hermione pops up all of a sudden in class. it meant he was looking for her. 😄
but towards the end of the movie, Harry and Hermione together were soooo cute! holding hands while running and everything!
i'm a bit confused who i wanna ship.. maybe i'll just ship both. 😉
