Does anybody from the UK, specifically London, remember when there was some MASSIVE Nokia cellphone craze a couple of years back?

It started with the one where you can change the cover, dubbed a "Nokia Face-Off". Then it increased ten fold with the 3210.

Nobody, despite it being obvious, noticed that they were shit phones.

I've had a Siemens for my past....3 cells now. Would never go back and I'm about to upgrade again.

I've got a Siemens C45... old, not exactly technologically advanced, but small, cute and satisfactory. I'd rather spend my money on clothes than all the crap that's out now, IPods, Mp3s... snazzy phones. Just doesn't appeal 😬

i used to have a nokia (cant remember wat model) but when i was on LSD it rang and i thought that it was a bat and so i threw it ino the river 😮

Yeah, it's all getting a bit much. Especially with cellphones. I think internet, along with cameras (although they can be fun and useful here and there admittedly) are quite pointless inventions. The new Siemens all have cameras but they have lots more added that is useful. I like that they have dictaphones and such. They always look really good also.

I rarely use my cell for calls now anyway, mostly for textual communication.
