Clonetrooper outfit

I was wondering what type of uniform/armour the clonetroopers will be seen in Episode II, could it be a variant of the Boba/Jango Fett armour, or will it appear more as an early version stormtrooper? In the Donald Glut Novelisation of ESB it states that Boba Fett is seen wearing a costume similar to one worn by a group of evil warriors defeated by the jedi knights during the clone wars, i know that GL could easily re-write this, as he is Boba's history, but you never know! What do you think?

Gl would definetly not go with anything from the expanded universe, but i could see an early generation stormtrooper outfit, or something close to Jango's outfit.

Does Dooku use the clones?

Has it come out yet if Dooku is running off (evil) clones on the side? Or is he just in league with Poggle the Lesser and using his Superbattledroids? Some early rmmours indicated a massive unknown battle fleet attacking Coruscant and laying waste to large areas.

Waht? Like he never went with the name Coruscant, that he never went with introdducing Aurra Sing, who's first debut was in EU. Like he never included Swoop Bikes from the EU in the Special Editon or the Inclusion of Dash Rengars Outrider taking off from Tatooine in the Special Edition.

Those are 4 EU items I can think off without really trying and I am sure there are many more.

Lucas does also ignore the EU when it suits him, but if an idea is good I think he would use it.

Actually I think GL could keep the description (if it suits him) and still come up with something very much his own in the case of the clonetrooper armor..

I wonder if they will go back towards some of the original trooper designs where the masks had breath pipes and the like.

What trooper designs? Are we in EU county again?

Prototypes

I think that Ratcat is refering to the original Ralph MacQuarrie designs of the Stormtroopers as they appeared in the 'Art of Star Wars' book, GL usually puts designs to one side and comes back to them later on, as i was flicking through the aforementioned book i noticed an early design for the Imperial Star Destroyer which bears a close resemblance to the Royal Naboo Starship from TPM.

Re: Prototypes

Kind of hard to get cool books like that in Norway!!!
