Whose face is on the mountain

In the DVD release of lotr two towers, there is a face on the side of the mountain when you are hearing echoes of Gandalf inside the mountain.

Who is it?

A face?!? Ive never seen it... must look closer 🙂

As the camera view is zooming in on the mountainside watch closely. The face is in profile.

I've seen it too - I think it's just a coincidence isn't it?

I've never noticed it. it is probably coincidence, but it could have been put there by PJ to kind of give the the mountain a persona like it has in the book.

Yeah, that's a good point. I wouldn't put it past Peter Jackson to do such a thing either!
