the new cd will be out 2005 suposedly all the music is allready done maynard just has to add vocals

Firstly to whoever claimed Orgy were on par with Tool.

They aren't. Don't feel bad because there aren't many bands who are on par with Tool. Tool's most recent album was 2001's "Lateralus". No one will be able to produce that kind of music for many years. Except Tool.

I'm under the impression that there is a great deal of Tool fans in this forum...I actually think there's more Tool fans in this forum then fans of any other specific band! I haven't heard a whole lot of Tool's songs save a few (Sober, Prison Sex, Stinkfist, Schism, Ticks and Leeches). They are not a bad band by any means, but what makes them so great? This isn't an attack, it's a question. Am I right in saying there are a massive amount of Tool fans here? Why such love and devotion to this band? What other bands do you Tool fans like (besides A Perfect Circle)?

I don't know, but the first time I heard Tool, it was weird, it was like nirvana or something 😖

It's pretty hard to explain, but I think most people know what I'm talking about in reference to some kind of music.

Other bands I like (besides APC): NIN, Incubus, RATM, Green Day, Korn, Bad Religion, Deftones, SOAD, Marilyn Manson, Sublime, Glassjaw, The Roots, Blackalicious, Lostprophets, Metallica, The Offspring, anything to do with Zack de la Rocha, and probably some other stuff.
